Antaeus Roy (aka Lando) is a Berlin-based producer, musician, and DJ with roots from Sacramento and San Francisco, onto New York and Berlin. For 20+ years, he’s shaped melodic, machine-driven grooves across early jack house, electro, wave, italo, techno, and 80s industrial. Also under previous aliases such as Lazer Sword and Lando Kal, he’s released on labels such as Rush Hour, Numbers, Hotflush, Ultramajic, Mistress, and his own Myth Music. A longtime Tresor resident with various appearances at Berghain, Fabric, Trouw, Dimensions, and beyond, his signature sound navigates cold synth romanticism, stripped jack rhythms, and driving industrial funk.

As a member of @Neo Genesis, the DJ understands how to entertain a wild and demanding crowd….
There is a limited amount of recordings available to the online listener. The DJ’s appearance is a strict dancefloor experience that cannot be recreated. When witnessing a set by one of the mentioned aliases, plastic is being moved by hand rather than files being played…
For the Euromatic Tales show on Mutant Radio tracks from the crate were selected to be presented in a radio show-style manner.

Working on 4 decks or playing out rips of recent digging finds … ?
I promise – it will be ‘Out of the ordinary!’.
Being socialized in the GDR himself Dunkeltier (German for dark beast) aka SneakerDJ delivers a recording of two and a half hours of German (+ Austrian & Swiss) synth music from the early 80s commonly dubbed as NDW (the commercial tag) and from the Kassettentäterszene (underground tape scene). [edit: a song with English vocals and a classic one by Absolute Body Control sneaked in] The mix was recorded for eternity at the small community-run venue Pracht in the wilderness of East Germany we know as Leipzig.

On occasion of the 2025 release of BiGOTT on Reach Another System we unearthed this interview.

The advent of the trinity!
GOTT has come upon us. As the new psalms have just been released Scannoir‘s friend and studio partner Sneaker answers a few questions.
Can you enlighten us and clarify the discovery phase and the recording sessions for the project? Was it clear from the beginning which musical direction you wanted to take?
Total Kommander reached me as a demo by Scannoir. The topic is actually a joke, since … Read the whole thing!

This mix for Memory Screen was recorded at the legendary ‘Hot On The Heels’ night at the California Clipper. Shortly after Halloween 2024, the enigmatic Dunkeltier played the monthly, mid-week night started nearly 20 years ago and hosted by Beau Wanzer. In his 2.5 hour set, Dunkeltier brought the hyper-local Neue Deutsche Welle (the commercial tag) and Kassettentäter (DIY tape scene) sounds to Chicago exposing party goers to what he considers “THE LATER MUSICAL PENDANT TO THE 20s GERMAN DADA ART MOVEMENT”.
For those curious about the cultural background of the scenes behind the mix, here is an interview with the Dunkeltier for Discus Throwers (Wiener Brut):
